Eric Reasons

I am a network engineer, working in the field of Information Technology for fifteen years now. I started working in IT in 1993, as a freshman in college. I was an Internet junkie before the World Wide Web existed. I have seen our entire profession turned on its head, and it's just beginning. My particular interests, at present, are network security, wireless networking, social media, the newsmedia in transition, and the economic impact of social networking. I am a native Detroiter, and have lived and worked in and around the city my whole life.

This website is my personal sandbox on the web, letting me play with new technologies before I put them into practice in my professional life.
